Prepare A Prompt That Does The Engineering For You
A useful prompt replaces decisions an audio engineer would normally make. Write one compact brief before opening a generator:
General shopping ads
- Purpose: “A 45-second background track for a Galaxy phone video.”
- Pulse: state a tempo range or “slow,” “mid-tempo” or “fast.”
- Sound: name the main instruments, such as soft piano, muted drums and warm bass.
- Shape: specify an intro, verse, chorus, short bridge and clean ending.
- Voice: request instrumental, AI vocals or your own reference only when the tool supports that input.
- Mix goal: ask for a clear lead, restrained low end and a short ending suitable for phone speakers.
Example: “Mid-tempo reflective pop, 4-bar piano intro, intimate verse, wider uplifting chorus, light drums, warm bass, clear vocal, no long instrumental break, clean 2-bar ending.” Generate three variations and keep the version whose arrangement already needs the fewest changes.

Build A Better Instrumental
For a track without singing, Soundverse can generate the complete instrumental and provide stems or MIDI for later adjustment. Loudly can remix uploaded audio and export separated stems. Mureka supports remixing, extensions and multitrack editing. Use one change per pass, such as “simplify the chorus drums,” so you can tell which instruction helped.
Use A Reference Carefully
Eleven Music, Mureka, Musicful and Songdio list audio or other reference inputs. Upload only audio you own or have permission to use. Do not imitate a living singer’s identity or upload someone else’s voice without consent; review each service’s terms before using voice references, covers or voice cloning.

Export Something You Can Actually Use
- Choose a full mix when you only need a finished file for a video or personal listening.
- Choose stems when you need to lower vocals, change the balance or hand parts to another editor. Suno, Eleven Music, Soundverse, Loudly, Mureka, Musicful and Songdio list stem or separation features; Udio currently says downloads are disabled during its transition period.
- Choose MIDI only where the product lists it: Soundverse, Mureka and Loudly-related workflows list MIDI or MIDI-oriented tools. Check the export screen for the exact available format.
- Play the export through your Galaxy speaker and headphones. If the vocal disappears or the bass overwhelms the phone, return to the prompt or section edit and make one targeted change.
Check Rights Before Sharing
- Suno’s free plan does not include commercial rights; its Pro plan limits downloads to 20 songs per month.
- Eleven Music’s free plan is personal use, and commercial rights vary by plan and exclude film, TV and studio games.
- Musicful limits commercial use to Standard/Pro; Free/Basic is non-commercial.
- Loudly says paid licensing rights depend on the plan.
- Udio’s stated transition disables audio, video and stem downloads, so confirm current terms before planning a release.
- CreateSong, WriteSong.AI, Tunee and other products have their own plan-specific rights, but they are not needed for this phone-first workflow. For any tool, read the current vendor terms before publishing, monetising, using samples or using a person’s voice.

- Write the five-line brief: purpose, pulse, sound, shape and voice.
