Step 1: Define The Musical Brief
Write a short brief before opening a generator. Include the purpose, approximate length, energy, instrumentation, vocal approach and arrangement. For example: “Create a 90-second electronic workout track with a four-on-the-floor kick, syncopated bass, bright synth hook, instrumental sections and a clear intro and ending.” This gives you criteria for judging the result instead of accepting the first generation.
Step 2: Generate A Complete Song In Suno
- Open Suno on your Galaxy browser or Android app and start a song from your brief.
- Ask for concrete sections, such as an eight-bar intro, verse, chorus, short breakdown and final chorus. Treat the text as a direction, not a guarantee of a particular structure.
- Generate several versions and keep the one with the strongest melody, vocal delivery or groove for your purpose.
- Use Suno’s editing, remixing, extensions or section replacement when the idea is good but one passage needs changing.
- Export stems when your plan allows it, then save the project files with clear names such as “chorus-v2” and “instrumental-v1.”
Suno’s Free Plan includes 50 credits per day and an 8-minute audio upload limit. It does not include commercial rights or stem separation. The Pro Plan is listed at $8 per month, with 2,500 credits per month and 20 song downloads per month. Suno Studio is limited to the Premier Plan.

Step 3: Build An Editable Beat When You Need Control
- Open Beat Shaper in your Galaxy browser and start with the desired genre, mood and energy settings.
- Adjust syncopation and edit the generated parts in the piano roll. Shape the kick, bassline, synth and loop parts so the arrangement follows your brief.
- Export MIDI when you want to continue arranging in a DAW, or export WAV, MP3, stems or a DAW project when your plan supports that format.
- Use the free Starter plan for up to 32 MIDI clips while developing an idea. Starter downloads are limited to MP3 and non-commercial use; the Creator plan is €9 per month and adds commercial usage rights plus MIDI, MP3 and WAV downloads.
Beat Shaper runs in a browser rather than as a standalone desktop application. Ableton Live project export and real-time MIDI require the Producer plan.

Get consent from people whose voices you submit, and read each platform’s terms for covers, samples, generated vocals and commercial releases. Suno’s Free Plan does not include commercial rights, Beat Shaper Starter is non-commercial, and AetherWave lists commercial use on paid plans. Terms for other tools and for your particular output are not established here, so check the vendor before publishing or monetizing.

Export A Galaxy-Ready Review Copy
- Keep the full mix, instrumental mix and any stems in separate folders.
- Listen on Galaxy speakers and headphones at a moderate volume, checking vocal clarity, bass balance and abrupt edits.
- Return to the arrangement or mix when a problem is musical; use mastering only after the stereo mix is finished.
- Keep version numbers in every filename so a later export cannot overwrite the draft you preferred.
