What A Lo-Fi Beat Needs

Make one change per revision. For example, request “less busy hi-hats,” “a lower bass register,” or “replace the lead with a two-note motif.” This makes it easier to identify which change improved the pocket.

Step 3: Shape The Groove For Lo-Fi
- Keep the kick and bass simple. Remove competing low notes when the bass obscures the kick.
- Use a small amount of swing or syncopation. If Beat Shaper exposes syncopation, make a subtle change and audition the loop again.
- Let the melody repeat with variation. Replace one note or mute the final hit of every fourth bar.
- Arrange contrast. Make the B section add one layer or a small drum change, then return to the sparse A section.
- Listen on the Galaxy phone speaker and headphones. If the snare disappears on the speaker, raise its level or choose a brighter sound in the editor.
Step 4: Export A Phone-Ready Draft
Export a WAV when you plan to continue editing, and keep a separate MP3 for quick sharing. MIDI is useful when you want to change the virtual instrument or rewrite the bass. Stems let you rebalance drums, bass, and melody individually. Export availability differs: Soundverse AI Beat Maker lists WAV, stems, and MIDI; InsMelo AI Beat Maker lists MP3, WAV, MIDI, and stems; Beat Shaper’s Starter plan lists MP3 only; Suno’s Free Plan does not include stem separation; Eleven Music lists stems and MP3/WAV. Rights And Consent Before You Share
- Do not upload or clone another person’s voice without their permission. Voice and reference-audio features can have additional terms.

- If you add a sample, vocal, or cover outside the AI service, obtain the permissions required for that material before releasing the track.
