What it is
ZipGrade helps teachers grade paper multiple-choice quizzes with a mobile app and review the results. Answer sheets can be scanned on an iPhone, iPad, or Android device without an internet connection. Teachers can use 20-, 50-, or 100-question forms, or configure custom forms with their own questions, answers, and labels. Supported response formats include multiple choice, true/false, matching, and gridded numeric entry. ZipGrade provides item analysis, including Discriminant Factor, and captured data can be exported to CSV. Through the Student Portal, teachers can assign online quizzes and post results from online or in-person quizzes. Results and student data can also be exported in file formats or sent directly to gradebook software or a learning management system. The free plan allows 100 papers per month with unlimited quizzes, students, and classes. The paid plan is $6.99 per year, billed for one year as a non-recurring subscription, and removes the paper limit. ZipGrade is primarily intended for teachers, while students can access quizzes through the Student Portal.
