zbMATH Open
Karlsruhe, Germany
What it is
zbMATH Open is a free mathematics information service linking research topics with authors, publications, references, and software. It offers more than 4.8 million bibliographic records containing reviews or abstracts from mathematical literature worldwide. Search covers research content, including formulas, as well as authors, author networks, journals, and journal contents. Records reference mathematical software, with an integrated search for software applications in mathematics. The service maintains an uninterrupted literature record since 1868, including data from the Jahrbuch über die Fortschritte der Mathematik. Mathematics-section arXiv preprints are integrated into author profiles and disambiguation. Available worldwide at no charge since becoming open access in 2021, it runs on the web and provides API and OAI access. The API does not contain all service content and commonly includes bibliographic data, DOI, reviews, author profiles, classifications, and sometimes abstracts. API use follows terms, licensing, copyright, and traffic controls.
