What it is
Xello is a K–12 student readiness system that helps schools guide students from exploring future options to shaping plans. Students can use career matchmaking assessments and review career, major, and college profiles, then build a personal digital portfolio with a link they can share. College planning tools include application tracking, date lists, transcript requests, and recommendation letter workflows. Interactive lessons can be completed independently or assigned by educators. An optional Work-based Learning module lets students find and request local opportunities such as job shadows and internships. Educators can run unlimited reports on student work, progress, and engagement. Xello is available on web, Android, and iOS, and students can work in a phone browser as well as on computers and tablets, with work saved across devices. The platform supports student information system integrations and single sign-on options. Xello says it meets WCAG 2.2 AA standards and supports keyboard navigation, captions, and screen readers.
