VoIP.ms SIP Trunking
Montreal, Canada
What it is
VoIP.ms SIP Trunking connects an IP PBX or another compatible SIP system to VoIP.ms for inbound and outbound calls over an internet connection. Businesses can connect an existing PBX rather than replace their phone system. Outbound calling is available without buying a phone number when a valid caller ID is configured; inbound calls from the phone network require a DID routed to the SIP setup. Connections can use UDP or TCP, with settings for individual SIP accounts such as IP address authentication, codecs, DTMF, and NAT. SIP-TLS and SRTP can be enabled to encrypt signaling and audio. Call Detail Records and detailed logs show incoming and outgoing calls, routing, and failover events, and customers can configure an alternate route when the primary route is unavailable. Channel capacity can be adjusted for simultaneous calls, with tailored capacity handled by Sales. The service connects to SIP-compatible PBXs, IP phones, gateways, softphones, and SBCs, and VoIP.ms provides configuration guides for third-party systems. Pricing is on request; the Inbound SIP Trunk plan is $23 a month per channel. A Microsoft Teams voice connector starts at $4.50 per license.
