VitalSentinel Schema Validator

Bratislava, Slovakia

What it is

VitalSentinel Schema Validator checks structured data on one page URL and sorts findings into missing, recommended, and broken information. It examines JSON-LD blocks separately, including nested entities and items inside an @graph. For broken blocks, it identifies the line and column and names common causes such as trailing commas, curly quotes, and HTML entities. For Article, Product, FAQPage, Recipe, Event, BreadcrumbList, LocalBusiness, and Organization, its property checks distinguish Google-required fields from recommended ones; other types are listed but not graded. It also flags non-absolute image URLs, dates outside ISO format, and prices containing currency symbols. The free checker reads server-sent HTML, so JSON-LD added by JavaScript is not visible. It reports microdata and RDFa when present but does not grade them. A valid result does not guarantee a Google rich result, and the tool recommends Google's Rich Results Test for rendered pages and eligibility checks. REST API and MCP access are available on every plan with monthly credits that vary by plan. The free tool has request limits; paid plans start at $39 a month.

For and against

For

  • Checks JSON-LD blocks individually, including nested entities.
  • Identifies line and column for broken blocks.
  • Distinguishes required and recommended properties for eight types.
  • REST API and MCP are available on every plan.
  • Free plan is available.

Against

  • Free checker checks one URL once.
  • JavaScript-added JSON-LD is not visible.
  • Microdata and RDFa are reported but not graded.
  • Free usage has per-IP and per-site request limits.

The verdict

The validator gives detailed JSON-LD checks for one URL and flags common value and syntax issues. Its HTML-reading and format limits matter, and valid markup alone does not ensure a Google rich result.

Who it suits

It suits website owners, developers, SEO professionals, and agencies checking JSON-LD markup on a page. The wider VitalSentinel platform also lists Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console integrations.
