Vibe Drummer
What it is
Vibe Drummer is a free AI-powered drum pattern generator for macOS. Users can describe a beat in plain English, sketch kick and snare parts, or provide a MIDI file as a reference for generated hi-hats, fills, and accents. Examples include a funky hi-hat groove at 120 BPM and aggressive metal double bass. Generated patterns export as standard MIDI for dragging into a DAW, with Logic Pro, Ableton, and FL Studio named as compatible applications. The app has no ads or in-app payments and allows unlimited patterns when users bring their own AI key. It requires macOS 11 or later on Apple Silicon. Prompts go directly from the computer to a chosen provider using that key; listed providers include OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and Ollama. Patterns, chat history, and settings remain local, and anonymous analytics are optional.
