What it is
Valamis Learning Platform is a learning management system for companies training employees and external learners. It covers onboarding, compliance, upskilling and external training, and is intended for organizations with at least 250 learners. Teams can build curated learning paths with goals, certificates and points, and use Valamis Studio for content authoring. The platform supports multiple content formats, SCORM and xAPI. Pre-built connectors include Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, BambooHR, HiBob and Oracle PeopleSoft; an open API supports custom integrations and data exchange. Single sign-on options include SAML 2.0, OpenID Connect, Azure AD, Okta and Auth0. Microsoft Copilot, Claude and ChatGPT can connect through MCP. Native iOS and Android apps support offline learning, alongside web and API access. Valamis says EU customer data is stored and processed by default in EU-based Microsoft Azure data centres, and that customer data is not used to train AI models. Pricing is on request; there is no free plan, but a free trial is available. Valamis is headquartered in Joensuu, Finland, and was founded in 2003.
