TurboBridge

Bethesda, Maryland, United States

What it is

TurboBridge provides reservationless audio conference calling through dial-in numbers, browser-based WebCall and SIP access. Hosts can view participants, mute callers, manage Q&A, record calls, lock conferences and open breakout rooms. Standard conferences support up to 1,000 participants; the company asks customers needing greater capacity to contact it. WebCall uses WebRTC in a supported, up-to-date browser without a download or registration, while Safari is required on iOS devices. Businesses can use the API to add conferencing to their applications and manage bridges, settings, live conferences and call detail records. Security options include participant User IDs, host-set passcodes, entrant alerts, caller blocking and participant removal. SIP participants do not need a TurboBridge subscriber account or SIP registration, and encrypted connections are supported with the sips: prefix. The Value plan has no monthly fee but charges by the minute for each caller. Flat Rate is listed at $9.95 a month, with certain usage and room terms. Phone and email support are listed Monday through Friday, 9am–6pm Eastern.
