Tridium Niagara Framework
Richmond, Virginia, United States
What it is
Tridium Niagara Framework is software infrastructure for connecting devices and operational data with the people and systems managing workflows in buildings, data centers, industrial processes, and smart cities. Its tools cover control logic, data management, user presentation, histories, schedules, and alarms, including HVAC and lighting control, environmental monitoring, and access integration. Niagara Supervisor provides browser access to alarms, logs, graphics, schedules, and configuration data. It includes multiple open-protocol IP drivers, while additional drivers may be purchased separately. Tridium says Niagara can integrate control and environmental-monitoring subsystems and reports more than one million instances across hundreds of thousands of projects. Security features include hashed passwords, TLS communications, certificate management, and a Security Dashboard. Niagara Cloud Suite adds remote access, station-data recovery, and API access to semantically enriched data stored with Microsoft Azure. Initial Supervisor licensing requires an active Software Maintenance Agreement, which is also needed for the latest Niagara version. Pricing is paid and available on request.
