Thumbmagic
What it is
Thumbmagic is a web-based AI thumbnail maker for YouTubers, content creators, agencies, and brands. Users can paste a public YouTube link, upload MP4, MOV, AVI, or WEBM video up to 5GB, or enter at least 100 characters of script. Each generation costs one credit and creates two thumbnail variants; edits and expression changes also use one credit. The editor lets users select an element, describe a change, and generate a variant. A text tool suggests three to five headlines and offers six fonts, while the expression changer provides six choices. Standard YouTube thumbnails are 1280x720 pixels, and 9:16 templates support short-form destinations. The service lists YouTube, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram use cases. Free access includes three thumbnails without a credit card. Annual paid plans start at $17 a month; Starter includes 100 thumbnails monthly. There are no setup fees, cancellation is anytime, and purchases have a 30-day money-back guarantee.
