What it is
Thendrask Launcher is a free, open-source desktop tool for browsing and importing Minecraft modpacks, creating separate instances, and launching the official game. Users can browse approved Modrinth and CurseForge catalogues or import MRPACK and CurseForge ZIP files. Custom instances support Fabric, Forge, NeoForge, and Quilt, with dependencies installed automatically. The launcher manages Java runtimes for each Minecraft release and accepts custom Java paths. It verifies required files, snapshots packs before updates, and rolls back failed updates. Snapshots, portable backups, broken-file checks, and sanitized diagnostic bundles are also available. Friends can be added by code to see who is online and what they are playing. Windows is available; macOS and Linux are in public beta. The project is built with Electron and React. It does not modify Minecraft and is not affiliated with Mojang or Microsoft. The free download is MIT-licensed; optional support tiers are $3 monthly and $50 lifetime.
