What it is
Tencent Cloud Cloud Studio is a browser-based environment for coding, learning, collaboration, and AI-assisted training. Its online IDE is based on VS Code and includes a terminal, Git, and extensions for multiple programming languages, so users can work without installing a local development environment. CodeBuddy Code and plugins assist with coding, and workspaces offer CPU and GPU compute, with GPU capability up to A800. Templates cover AI, language environments, frontend, backend, and static websites. Projects can be imported from CNB, GitHub, Gitee, and GitLab. Teams can invite collaborators and assign editor or viewer access. Teachers can create courses, manage roles, allocate compute, and review student progress and assignments. APIs are available to create, modify, stop, and query workspaces. The free plan provides one-core, 2GB memory, and 4GB disk. Standard, Advanced, and Flagship plans cost CN¥79 a month, CN¥159 a month, and CN¥299 a month, respectively. Free standard workspaces shut down after 10 minutes of inactivity, and users can run up to two at once. Monthly usage allowances are 50,000 minutes for general workspaces and 10,000 for high-performance workspaces; additional usage is charged by consumption.
