TeacherEase
Des Plaines, Illinois, United States
What it is
TeacherEase is an online gradebook for teachers, schools, and districts, with traditional and standards-based grading. Classroom tools include learning targets, rubrics, assessments, curriculum mapping, lesson plans, an LMS, and report cards. Teachers can record attendance and behavior, email parents, and print progress reports. A parent portal can display assignments, scores, and missing work, with teachers controlling what parents see. Administrators can use reports to identify struggling students, send school-wide announcements, and find ineligible students. The platform supports SIS imports and grade exports, IMS OneRoster, Clever, Authentica RapidRoster, and scheduled custom imports. Sign-in is available by email and password or Google account; Clever provides single sign-on through its portal. TeacherEase runs on web, Android, and iOS. Annual pricing starts at $175.67 a year for groups of 5–19 teachers, with other rates for larger groups. Individual teacher accounts and groups with fewer than five teachers are no longer available. Report cards and report-card data exports can be purchased separately, and subscriptions continue over summer.
