What it is
SuperDuper! is a native macOS app for copying drives, folders, and files for backup and recovery. It supports mixed backup and restore modes and can create bootable copies on supported configurations, while non-bootable backups can still be restored. Copy jobs are described with plain-English sentences. Smart Update copies new or changed files and removes files no longer on the source so the destination matches it. Scheduled copies can run with the app closed or while the user is logged out. Destinations include network shares over SMB, AFP, or NFS, and the app can connect to a share when copying starts. macOS Shortcuts can run before or after a copy or after failure. SuperDuper! 4 requires macOS 14 or later on Apple silicon or Intel. Unregistered use has no time limit; registration unlocks additional functions.
