Storyboarding
What it is
Storyboarding is a free web tool for creating, sharing, and approving storyboards with AI-generated frames and video clips. Gemini 2.5 Flash Image, called Nano Banana, generates frames from prompts and reference images. Veo 3 Fast creates 4-, 6-, or 8-second clips in 16:9 or 9:16 formats. Teams can comment on scenes and approve them, while external reviewers use tokenized links without accounts. Links can be limited to a storyboard or chapter and set to view-only or comment-only; they expire after 30 days by default and can be revoked. Projects export as print-ready PDFs or MP4 animatics for a whole storyboard or chapter. MP4 output is 1920×1080 H.264 at 30fps. The beta plan costs nothing and includes unlimited storyboards and chapters, AI image and video generation, review, sharing, and exports. Media is stored on DigitalOcean servers in the USA with stated encryption protections.
