What it is
Stickies is a free Windows utility for keeping text and image notes on screen. Notes remain where placed until closed, including through computer reboots. You can hide a note until a chosen date and time, schedule it to wake daily, weekly, or monthly, and add alarms. Fonts, colours, buttons, styles, and note sizes are customizable. Notes can attach to an application, website, document, or folder so they appear only when that item is on screen. Stickies transfers notes between machines over TCP/IP, SMTP mail, or a MAPI client, and provides an API through Windows messages for other applications. It stores data in one SQLite database and does not write to the registry. Unicode and right-to-left text are supported. The current download supports Windows 7, 8, 10, and 11; earlier versions are unsupported.
