Stands AdBlocker
Stands AdBlocker · Tel Aviv, Israel · founded 2014
What it is
Stands AdBlocker is a free browser extension for major browsers that blocks ads, pop-ups, and trackers on websites including YouTube and Twitch. It is offered for Windows and macOS, and Stands also provides an Android browser that blocks ads while browsing inside that app. The extension includes an element picker and Cookie Notice Remover for consent pop-ups. Stands says it can skip or remove ads before, during, and in live videos without stopping playback. Users can allow ads on selected sites, creators, or channels, and adjust ad and pop-up preferences. The company says the extension runs natively on Manifest V3 and uses Declarative Net Request logic while aiming to preserve website appearance and functionality. Some non-intrusive ads may remain enabled by default; Acceptable Ads or Search Ads can be turned off for stricter blocking. Its privacy policy says it collects IP, device, and browsing information for ad blocking, with analytics data filtered to remove personal data.
