Stadium Sound
What it is
Stadium Sound is a soundboard for stadium and arena PA operators who need to cue walk-on music and effects during events. It is free and available on macOS, Windows, and the web. Operators can arrange tracks in named banks, build ordered playlists across banks, and trigger tracks with keyboard shortcuts. Audio files are decoded when loaded, so a click starts playback without buffer spin-up. Monitor Mode sends previews to private headphones before venue playback. The track editor offers a waveform, draggable in and out points, intro trimming, and player-name fields for walk-on cues. Loudness scanning reports LUFS and flags tracks outside a target; the library can be normalized in one click. Stadium Sound also tracks play counts and exports CSV files for audio logs. It imports Sports Sounds Pro .set files with banks, track names, and file paths. Playback control is available through Bitfocus Companion, a phone or tablet web remote, and OSC. The maker says OSC is unauthenticated and recommends keeping controllers on a trusted production network.
