Spriv Adaptive MFA
What it is
Spriv Adaptive MFA adds multiple ways to verify logins across web applications, Windows Remote Desktop, and Linux or Unix systems. After a user approves a login, Spriv can pair the workstation with an environmental identifier from the user’s phone, then authenticate later matching logins in the background. Other methods include one-way and two-way SMS, TOTP, and Allow/Deny prompts. A Windows credential provider supports Remote Desktop logins, while a Linux and Unix PAM module covers SSH, su, and sudo. Developers can connect their own web or customer-facing applications through a REST API with sample code in five languages. Spriv supports iOS and Android phones, and large institutions can host custom servers in their own data centers; other customers use shared cloud servers. The free plan is available forever for up to two users and two servers. Paid plans start at $7/user/mo; Business includes unlimited users, with servers billed separately at $10/server/month. SMS use requires a card to cover carrier costs.
