What it is

SparkleBox is a downloadable teaching-resource library for teachers, with materials spanning early years and primary grades. Its resources cover EYFS, KS1 and KS2, across literacy, maths, science, ICT, geography, history, design and technology, religious education, art, music, PE, PSHE, modern foreign languages, dance, drama, HSIE and PDHPE. The site says its collection has grown to many thousands of resources, and editable files are available. One example is a home visual timetable with more than 30 JPG images and a PDF laid out six images to an A4 page. A Resources for Parents section offers printables for home use. SparkleBox launched in February 2006 and is available on the web and Windows. Nearly every resource is free to download; paid options start from £1.49. Free resources may be copied and shared with attribution for non-commercial use, provided digital products are not altered. Email support is available, though a response to every message is not guaranteed.
