Spamgourmet
What it is
Spamgourmet creates disposable email addresses that forward a limited number of messages to a protected address before discarding later mail. Aliases are generated automatically when their first message arrives, so users do not need to create each one beforehand. An address can forward up to 20 messages, or three by default when no limit is specified. Advanced mode adds trusted senders, watchwords, prefixes, reply masking, and tools to view or edit addresses. Reply masking routes responses through Spamgourmet and uses the disposable address instead of exposing the protected return address. The service is free and available on the web, with released code for self-hosting or adding similar functionality to another mail service. Its policy says messages are forwarded immediately or erased from volatile memory and that the code does not store email. Standard logs record IP addresses. Spamgourmet filters only disposable-address mail; direct messages to the protected address are unaffected.
