Sourcemeta One

What it is

Sourcemeta One is a self-hosted JSON Schema micro-service that turns Git repositories into searchable schema catalogs with governance capabilities. Teams can organize schemas by team, department, domain, or vendor, and view quality scores based on linting. Schema and registry configuration remain in Git, allowing changes to pass through an existing review workflow. The optional web explorer can be omitted for headless deployments that use the HTTP API. Supported drafts range from Draft 3 through 2020-12, with format validation, custom meta-schemas, annotation collection, and bundling. Documented integrations include Sourcemeta JSON Schema CLI, Deno HTTPS imports, OpenAPI schema references, and improved Visual Studio Code autocomplete. Git is the source of truth; the service has no database, write path, or stateful persistence. It is distributed as Docker images for x64 and arm64, and Docker is the only officially supported running method. The Community edition is free, self-hosted, and offers a subset of functionality under the Business Source License 1.1; releases transition to AGPL-3.0-or-later after four years. Enterprise requires a commercial license for production, with pricing on request.
