What it is
Softube Vocal Tuner is a real-time vocal pitch-correction plug-in for macOS and Windows. It runs in a DAW host supporting AU, VST, VST3 and/or AAX formats. Classic correction targets a traditional tuning sound, while Modern correction is designed to retain vocal formants. Subtle/Hard changes correction speed, and Natural/Robotic adjusts note-transition treatment. Pitch and formant shifting can work separately or together. Octave-up and octave-down layers include individual gain controls, and Tone Enhance adds processing. Low Latency mode is intended for tracking and live performance, with reported latency below one millisecond. Metering and visual displays show processing effects on the input signal. The plug-in supports MIDI pitch control and a 12-semitone pitch-shift range, but has no scale or key detection. Installation and licensing need Softube and iLok accounts plus internet access. A 20-day trial and three activations are listed. The one-time plan is €199.
