SkillsEngine
Austin, Texas, United States
What it is
SkillsEngine is a platform for skills-based analytics, labor-market insights, and career alignment across work and learning communities. Its AI translation tool turns job posts, resumes, curriculum, and other text into skills profiles. Users can create profiles for jobs, credentials, curricula, and individuals, then share and edit them with collaborators or subject-matter experts. The platform supports surveys to gather expert feedback on skill requirements and includes a curated library of profiles, skill sets, and templates. Its labor-market insights use U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics data. APIs are available in beta with custom organization accounts, with endpoints for translating text, searching skills, finding templates, retrieving profile skills, and listing organization profiles. A free personal account allows one profile. Basic Team is $999 a month; Advanced API and Big Data API add-ons cost $499 a month and $999 a month, respectively, in addition to Basic Team. SkillsEngine runs on the web and via API and does not currently have a mobile application.
