What it is
SetPrep is a desktop app that reads a DJ music library and plans a complete set in a selected mixing style. It returns an ordered track list with an energy-arc role, a transition note, and a plain-English reason for each choice. It can read libraries from Rekordbox, Serato, or Traktor, as well as folders of audio files. Ten built-in style templates draw on analysis of real artist sets. SetPrep can write colour codes, transition notes, and star ratings to those DJ libraries. Library tools include de-duplication, locating missing files, filename repair, and finding forgotten tracks. The beta runs on Mac with Apple Silicon or Intel and on Windows with x64 or ARM64; downloads require an invite. The free plan allows three generated mixes per calendar month. Pro Monthly costs £5.99/month, and Pro Annual costs £59.99/year. Hot cues, loops, memory cues, and structural cues are listed as coming soon.
