SerpApi
Austin, Texas, United States
What it is
SerpApi provides an API that retrieves structured search results from Google and other search engines. Its JSON output can include organic, Maps, Local, Stories, Shopping, Direct Answer, and Knowledge Graph data. Location targeting can return Google results for places worldwide. SerpApi says each request runs immediately in a full browser and uses CAPTCHA-solving technology. Integrations are listed for Ruby, Python, JavaScript, Golang, PHP, Java, Rust, .NET, MCP, Swift, C++, and CLI. Only successful searches count toward monthly allowances; cached, errored, and failed searches do not. The Free plan includes 250 searches per month and 50 throughput per hour. Paid plans start at $25 a month for 1,000 searches and 200 throughput per hour. Search data expires after 31 days, while ZeroTrace Mode prevents storage after completion. SerpApi lists SOC 2 Type II, SOC 3, and ISO 27001 as acquired, with GDPR in progress. U.S. Legal Shield is included with Production and higher plans, up to $2 million.
