SecureTempMail
What it is
SecureTempMail provides disposable inboxes for sign-ups, downloads, and one-time verifications without requiring signup. Users can select inbox lifetimes from 10 minutes to 24 hours, after which messages are deleted. The service only receives email; temporary addresses cannot send messages. Verification and login codes are detected for copying, and incoming HTML is displayed in a sandbox with scripts disabled. SecureTempMail says inbound mail uses TLS and opportunistic STARTTLS, and that it does not log IP addresses against inbox activity or build advertising profiles. Its API can create inboxes, read and delete messages, and send real-time webhooks. The Chrome extension offers per-site aliases, one-click autofill, OTP notifications, and a side-panel inbox. Desktop apps are available for Windows, Apple Silicon Macs, and Linux; Intel Macs are not yet supported. The free plan lists unlimited disposable inboxes with lifetimes up to 24 hours, four rotating domains, and advertising. Premium costs $39/yr and includes up to 30-day retention, premium private domains, attachment downloads, no ads, inbox history and search, and priority delivery. The Developer plan costs $190 per year and includes 100k API requests per month, catch-all domains, REST API and webhooks, and an email support SLA.
For and against
For
- No signup is required for disposable inboxes.
- Verification and login codes are surfaced for copying.
- The API supports real-time webhooks.
- A free plan is listed.
Against
- Temporary addresses cannot send email.
- Free inbox lifetimes are limited to 24 hours.

The verdict
SecureTempMail offers disposable receiving addresses through web, extension, desktop, and API options. Its receive-only design and limited free inbox lifetime are important constraints to consider.
Who it suits
It suits people who need short-lived inboxes for one-off sign-ups or verification, as well as developers needing inbox controls through an API. Users who need to send mail or use an Intel Mac desktop app will need another option.
