What it is
Scholarly is a browser-based AI workspace that turns your reference materials into study, research, and work outputs. You can add PDFs, recordings, notes, slides, webpages, videos, images, YouTube links, and pasted text. From those sources, it creates flashcards, quizzes, practice exams, study guides, podcasts, video lectures, slides, mind maps, worksheets, timelines, and other artifacts. AI chat answers include checked citations, with a Sources button opening the page used for each claim. Deep Research searches the web, evaluates sources, and produces cited reports with charts and inline links. A Google Drive connection lets you choose specific Docs, Sheets, Slides, PDFs, Word files, PowerPoints, and text files, then save finished work as new Google Docs or Slides. Scholarly runs on laptops, tablets, and phones and syncs through your account. Teams get shared libraries, roles, central billing, and model controls. A free plan is available; paid service starts at 12 /user/mo billed annually, with a free trial.
