RePlays
What it is
RePlays is a free, GPL-3.0-licensed tool for recording, clipping, and sharing gameplay. It automatically manages recordings of detected running games and includes an editor for preparing clips. Recording is powered by libobs from the OBS Project, and instant replay is supported. Integrations for Counter-Strike 2, League of Legends, PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege can automatically bookmark moments such as kills, assists, and deaths. Windows users can download an installer from the latest GitHub release. Linux support remains a work in progress and generally requires building the software from source. The project uses C# (.NET 8) for its backend and TypeScript with React for its interface, with Microsoft Edge WebView2 on Windows and WebKit2GTK on Linux. Nightly releases may contain breaking changes and are used at the user’s risk. RePlays says uploaded videos and other data are stored on its EU servers. Its upload policy accepts videos made with RePlays, not recordings made directly from mobile devices.
