Renew
What it is
Renew is an AI-powered photo restoration app for old, faded, monochrome, or damaged pictures. Its restoration tools repair tears and other damage and can recreate lost details. HD enhancement sharpens faces, clarifies backgrounds, and improves image details, while colorization adds color to monochrome photos. Other listed tools include scratch removal, lighting correction, combining photos, photo animation, and HD print quality. The workflow is to choose a tool, upload a photo, preview the result, then download it in print quality or share it. The homepage says results take less than 60 seconds and are processed on the service’s servers. Renew is available on Android, iOS, and the web. There is no free plan, but a free trial is offered. The website subscription is listed at $9.99 a month, with billing stated as USD 9.99 per week. It includes unlimited access to core website features, priority processing, watermark-free saving, and HD downloads. The web privacy policy says uploaded photos and temporary processing data are deleted after processing under operational retention practices, subject to stated exceptions. Mobile face detection may process facial key points for requested features, but the app says it does not use facial data to identify people or build face profiles.
