RelayKit
What it is
RelayKit is a cloud API and web service for receiving webhook events from third-party services, inspecting them, verifying signatures, storing records, and forwarding them. Each incoming event can be sent to several destinations in parallel, with delivery status and retries handled separately for each destination. Failed deliveries can be retried automatically up to 20 attempts, and manual replay is available. Signature verification supports Stripe, GitHub, Shopify, Twilio, SendGrid, Paddle, Clerk, and Resend. RelayKit also provides IPv4 and IPv6 allowlisting, configurable rate limits, and audit records for rejected requests. It says the original request body and headers are forwarded except for specified hop-by-hop headers. The @relaykit/cli can send webhooks to a local development server and requires Node.js 18 or later. Plans include Hobby at no cost, Pro at $9 a month, and Team at $29 a month. Team adds Schema Sentinel, Time Machine replay, and priority support.
For and against
