What it is
Razer Chroma App is software for controlling and customizing RGB lighting on supported devices. Razer says hundreds of devices are supported and provides a compatible-device list. Quick Effects applies presets to an individual Chroma-enabled device or to devices together; Chroma Studio, Chroma Visualizer, and Chroma Connect provide additional lighting controls. Listed effects include Breathing, Fire, Ripple, Spectrum Cycling, Starlight, Static, Wave, and Wheel, and Razer states that Chroma RGB offers 16.8 million colors. Lighting can react to in-game events, such as turning red when a player’s health is low. Chroma Connect also supports Chroma-enabled accessories from more than 50 third-party hardware partners, including Govee, Yeelight, Philips Hue, Nanoleaf, and Twinkly. The app is free. Windows downloads are listed for Windows 11 x86-64 and Windows 10; the Mac preview is for macOS 15 Sequoia and later on Apple Silicon Macs. Razer also describes a free, open SDK for developers making experiences for Chroma-enabled devices.
