Query Streams
What it is
Query Streams provides governed access to databases and APIs for spreadsheets, AI clients, apps, and scheduled data syncs. Its outbound-only Network Agent makes an encrypted connection and keeps database credentials on the user's network; it requires no inbound ports or VPN and permits only SELECT, WITH, and EXPLAIN queries. Nova AI can interpret plain-English questions, inspect a database schema, run read-only SQL, and return metrics, tables, and charts. Excel and Google Sheets add-ins run shared saved queries and put live results in cells without showing recipients the SQL. Federated queries combine data from multiple databases and API sources into one table. Scheduled SQL results can be sent to services including Smartsheet, Airtable, Google Sheets, SeaTable, Baserow, and Anvil as often as every five minutes. The Free plan includes 5 MB of monthly query traffic, one data source, and caps on API and federated calls. New accounts get 30 days with every feature unlocked before moving to Free, without a credit card. Paid plans start at $15 per month.
