ProxyHawk
What it is
ProxyHawk is a native macOS proxy debugger for capturing and inspecting HTTP traffic from selected devices. It can capture traffic from Mac apps, iPhone, iOS Simulator, Android, and Android emulators, with mobile devices routing through the Mac. The maker says capture and display happen locally, without uploading HTTP content to its cloud. Its API Client can compose and replay requests, import cURL, and export Postman collections with environment variables. API Guard checks responses for removed fields, type changes, and missing array items, with Slack and email alerts. Other tools include request and response editing, breakpoints, block rules, local and remote mapping, scripts, response mocking, and network throttling. Shared sessions remove Authorization headers, cookies, and tokens on the client side, and shared links expire after seven days. ProxyHawk has a free plan and free trial; paid plans start at ₹417/mo. The Free plan allows up to 500 requests per day and excludes SSL/TLS decryption and several advanced tools. The app requires macOS 13 or later; there is no Windows or Linux version.
