Proxifier
Gijon, Asturias, Spain
What it is
Proxifier lets network applications use SOCKS or HTTPS proxies even when the applications have no proxy support of their own. It can process outgoing TCP connections and supports IPv6, including tunneling IPv4 connections through IPv6 proxies and the reverse. Supported proxy types include SOCKS 4, SOCKS 4A, SOCKS 5, HTTPS, and HTTP. Rules can route connections according to applications, IP addresses, hostnames, or ports, sending them through proxies or chains, blocking them, or connecting directly. Chains can be any length and support load balancing and redundancy, while backup proxies can provide failover. DNS options include system DNS, DNS over proxy, hybrid mode, and automatic detection. Profiles use human-readable XML and can be imported, exported, or updated from a remote web server. The fully functional trial has no limitations and stops working 31 days after its first start. There is no free plan; listed editions cost $39.95, paid once. Windows and Mac require separate licenses, and Android does not yet include some desktop features.
