Proko
What it is
Proko is an online art learning platform and community for developing artistic skills and connecting with peers and mentors. Its courses cover drawing fundamentals, anatomy, figure drawing, perspective, painting, character design, and comics. Premium courses may include extended videos, assignments, demonstrations, eBooks, critique videos, or 3D models, though materials vary by course. Free lessons are available; the Drawing Basics course page lists 58 free lessons out of 185. Students can post assignment work for community feedback, and instructors may use submissions in critique videos. Proko sells products individually rather than through membership access, and course access is for life. The Drawing Basics page says its videos can be downloaded as 1080p MP4 files for offline viewing, but this does not include future videos outside that course. Proko also lists Skelly anatomy modeling for iOS and Android, a web drawing timer, Zolly perspective practice for iOS, Android, and Windows, and a web value study tool. Drawing Basics Full course costs $159 as a one-time payment.
