PrecisionOS
Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
What it is
PrecisionOS is a VR and mobile training platform designed to build healthcare providers’ skills before operating-room work. Its library includes hundreds of surgical skills and procedures across more than 27 specialized VR apps, covering sports arthroscopy, shoulder and elbow, orthopedic trauma, spine, pediatrics, podiatry, and arthroplasty. Delphi, an AI mentor, recommends training opportunities and gives personalized feedback on accuracy and procedural flow. Learners can review transcript-based performance feedback and recommended practice, while institutions can access analytics and resident program reporting. Institutional subscriptions offer accreditation-aligned reports on resident progress, simulation use, and training gaps for Clinical Competency Committee meetings. Collaborate mode lets multiple users meet and communicate by voice in the same virtual operating room, although only some procedures support it. VR use requires a compatible Meta Quest headset; a membership also works with the mobile app, but only one VR session can be active at a time. Individual plans are $199 a month or $1,999 a year, and the headset is not included.
