What it is
PQ Companion is a free Windows desktop companion app built specifically for the Project Quarm game server. It brings together a searchable game database, DPS meter, spell timers, NPC overlay, combat history, player database, progression tools, and custom alerts. Its meter tracks live damage for the player and group, attributes pet and charm damage to owners, and produces fight summaries that can be copied to chat. Live Maps use zone data from game client files to show player positions, annotations, and NPC spawn points; user-installed Brewall-style map packs are also supported. With the Zeal mod installed, the app reads live game state through a local Windows pipe, including target health, pet name, group health, and casting state. It reads the game log and Zeal exports, and states that it does not modify the client or game data. Combat history is archived in a local SQLite store and can be exported in a .pqcb backup bundle. Custom triggers can create on-screen alerts, play local sound, or use text-to-speech, including optional locally installed Piper and self-hosted Kokoro voices. The app requires Windows 10 or 11; Zeal is recommended for spell checklist and inventory data.
