PowerAim
What it is
PowerAim is a Windows tool that captures screen images, runs a YOLOv8 model, and moves a mouse or virtual controller toward detected targets. It works from the screen rather than game memory, and its maker says it can work with any game. Aim settings can be arranged in profiles with selectable smoothing plus optional tracking and prediction. It supports a virtual Xbox stick and two-way controller-to-keyboard mapping. The HUD reader can recognize ammo, health, or weapon names and use conditions to gate triggers or switch profiles. Anti-recoil profiles can replay recorded recoil patterns or use image-based compensation. Custom tools combine movement, clicks, key presses, executable launches, and delays. AutoPlay can send detections and OCR context to a local Ollama model. The maker says it runs locally without telemetry and does not read memory, inject code, or load a kernel driver.
For and against
For
- Free forever with no ads
- Supports per-app profiles
- Offers virtual controller output
- Includes OCR-based conditions
- Runs locally without telemetry
Against
- Windows only
- Commercial use is prohibited
- CUDA requires NVIDIA hardware and runtime
- No free trial
The verdict
PowerAim provides screen-based aiming, profiles, OCR triggers, anti-recoil tools, and controller mapping at no cost. Its local operation avoids telemetry according to the maker, but the license restricts commercial use.
Who it suits
It suits Windows users seeking screen-based aiming, controller mapping, OCR conditions, or scripted tools. Commercial users should note the PolyForm Noncommercial license.
