Poetix
What it is
Poetix is a visual, node-based editor for branching game stories. Writers arrange beats, dialogue, choices, conditions, and consequences, then use its simulator to start from a selected beat, override variables, and inspect condition results during playtesting. An AI co-writer proposes edits for review; suggestions are not applied until approved. Story versions can be published as browser-playable links. For Unity projects, Poetix exports beats, choices, and variables and supplies a runtime API with ready-made dialogue and choice interfaces. The service is aimed at game teams ranging from solo indie developers to full studios, and also covers visual novels, interactive fiction, training simulations, and educational scenarios. Users retain ownership and may commercially use created products without Poetix royalties or fees. The free plan includes unlimited stories and scenes, up to three writers per story, unlimited readers, 50 AI credits monthly, and Unity export. Pro is $15 a month; Studio is $39 a month.
