What it is
Pinnacle Studio is paid Windows desktop software for creating and editing movies. It combines standard video editing with video capture and screen recording through MultiCam Capture Lite. Standard edition supports HD export, six video and audio tracks, and multicamera editing with up to two cameras. Ultimate adds 4K export, unlimited tracks, editing with up to six cameras, video masking, smart object and motion tracking, blend modes, 360-degree editing, and full color grading. Both editions include audio editing, voiceover recording, royalty-free music and sound effects, DVD authoring, and a slideshow maker. Exports include common video formats and devices, with web export to YouTube, Flickr, and Vimeo. The software requires 64-bit Windows 10 or 11, at least 4 GB RAM, 10 GB storage, internet for installation, registration, and updates, and product registration. A 15-day trial is available, but trial exports carry a watermark. Blu-ray authoring needs a separate plug-in.
