Opera Neon
Oslo, Norway
What it is
Opera Neon is a Chromium-based AI browser for macOS and Windows. It can open pages, research, fill in forms, and create content for users. Neon Chat uses open pages as context and supports image generation, video generation, photo-to-video generation, and web app creation. Neon Do works with the current page, manages tabs, runs scheduled tasks, and connects with Google tools. Research agents include Deep Research, One-Minute Research, and Local Research. Neon Cards save instructions for reuse across Chat, Do, and Research Agents. MCP connections are supported, with read-only defaults; clicking or filling forms requires permission, and users can pause, stop, or take over Neon Do. The Start plan is free and includes basic AI chat, ad blocking, a free VPN, Browser CLI, and MCP Connector. Standard Plan costs $19.90 a month and adds agents, research, generation, scheduled tasks, long memory, models, and Google Connectors.
