What it is
openQRM Enterprise is a data centre management and cloud computing platform for managing IT infrastructure across bare-metal servers and virtual machines. Its diskless-boot technology streams operating systems and applications from a central location, without local server hard disks. Teams can automate configuration and application deployment with Puppet, and use Nagios and Collectd for monitoring and documentation. Network features include automatic IP address management, while storage plugins cover open-source and commercial technologies. Listed integrations and supported technologies include Proxmox, KVM, Xen, Amazon AWS EC2, Azure, OpenVswitch, Puppet, Nagios, and Collectd. The platform also offers OS image deployment, PXE bootstrapping, lifecycle management, hardware inventory, API access, and out-of-band management. The free Community plan costs nothing and includes community support and the plugin library. Its edition page says additional plugins are unavailable there, and full compatibility with official plugins and support is available only with Enterprise. Enterprise adds the full plugin library, enterprise add-ons, expert technical support, stable releases, and solution design and deployment. It includes one year of minor and security updates. Enterprise SLAs define support hours and response times; scheduled support without an active SLA is listed at 120,00 EUR per hour.
