OpenQR
What it is
OpenQR is a web tool for generating QR codes and one-dimensional barcodes, including Code 128, Code 39, UPC-A, and EAN-13. QR codes can contain URLs, plain text, WiFi credentials, vCard contacts, SMS or email details, location coordinates, and calendar invites. The free plan costs nothing and includes all eight QR types, barcode generation, unlimited generation, PNG and SVG exports, no watermarks or expiry, and scanning capped at 20 per day.
Pro adds unlimited scanning, logo QR codes, scan analytics, dynamic QR codes, custom templates, priority support, and bulk generation for up to 50 items. Dynamic codes let users change the destination URL after printing. Bulk output can be downloaded as a ZIP file, and exports also include print-ready PDFs and transparent-background QR codes. For anonymous use, content is processed locally rather than sent to OpenQR's servers. The optional Canva export sends a rendered QR image to OpenQR's backend for upload into Canva. Pro costs $0.59 a month with a five-day free trial, or $5.99 a year; Lifetime costs $9.99, paid once.
