NovaPlay
What it is
NovaPlay is a free Windows application for playing Android games on a PC. It uses hardware-accelerated GPU rendering and automatically maps touchscreen controls to keyboard and mouse, including WASD keys. Players can sign in to the Google Play Store to install Android games; a Google account is needed only for Play Store access. On its first launch, NovaPlay adjusts its settings to the PC hardware. It runs Android 13 and is aimed at mobile gamers who want to play on a computer, including people using modest laptops. NovaPlay requires 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 and hardware virtualization, with 8 GB of RAM recommended. The listed download is about 15 MB. It does not support macOS or multi-instance mode. Ads appear on the website and in NovaPlay Home inside Android. The Windows app sends anonymous error reports and a daily diagnostic ping with device and app information; the maker says these do not include files, Google account details, or activity inside Android. Email support typically replies within 2–3 business days, and setup and troubleshooting guides are available.
