NORBr Network Tokenization
Amsterdam, Netherlands
What it is
NORBr Network Tokenization replaces card numbers in payment flows with Network Tokens. A merchant activates the feature by selecting a supported tokenization partner in a payment contract. NORBr links each Network Token to the existing NORBr token, so enabling it requires no migration of payment data, new merchant endpoints, API changes, or new payment flows. When a selected provider supports Network Tokens, NORBr uses one; otherwise it falls back to the card’s PAN. Token details can be added as optional enrichment in transaction records and API payloads. Dashboards show token usage, authorization, transaction success, and order indicators, with dimensions such as provider and issuer country. Merchants can filter by token status, partner, and expiration data. Scheme updates can help recurring payments continue after cards expire, are replaced, or are reissued. The cloud service supports cards, web and API access, vendor-hosted vaults, and webhooks. NORBr lists connectors including Adyen, Braintree, Checkout.com, and Cybersource, with missing connectors available on demand. Pricing is a flat monthly subscription discussed during a demo.
