Mind Browser
What it is
Mind Browser is a Chromium browser with five sidebar agents that read pages, handle tasks, and return results using models on the user's machine. Planner, Navigator, Researcher, Writer, and Analyst cover planning, browser control, source research, writing, and analysis. Supported model providers include Ollama, Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Groq, and OpenRouter; with Ollama selected, prompts and page text remain on the machine. The browser also includes News Hub briefings and trends, plus Finance Hub charts, indicators, company fundamentals, industry news, trending tickers, and watchlists. US equity finance data is typically fifteen minutes behind, and the product has no broker integration or order tool. Shields blocks ad, tracker, and fingerprinting domains by default. The browser is free, requires no account, and is MIT licensed. The current release supports macOS 12 or later on Apple Silicon and Windows 10/11 on x64; Intel Mac and Windows ARM builds are not available. Chrome bookmarks and history cannot currently be imported, though Chrome Web Store extensions can be installed.
